ABOUT ZORAM MEDICAL COLLEGE
Mizoram Institute of Medical Education & Research (MIMER) was established under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme ‘Establishment of new medical colleges by upgrading district/referral hospitals’. The teaching hospital is State Referral Hospital, Falkawn, which is a 250 bedded government hospital.
The Details of fee structures are mentioned in the Prospectus 2021-2022 along with all the necessary details of the Institution, ZMC.
Distribution of Seats
  • 15% - Central Pool Quota
  • 15% - NRI Quota
  • 70% - State Quota

Fee Structure :

For State and All India Quota ₹ 96,850 (including Hostel Rent)
For NRI Quota USD 20,000 + ₹ 30,000

Note :

  • University Examination Fee is to be collected at the time of University Examination @ 2,400.00 per paper (Theory + Practical) and 310.00 for Mark sheet.
  • NRI Quota Annual Fee - 20,000 USD + 30,000 (A+B)
  • Once a candidate is admitted, if he/she leaves the institution before the completion of the MBBS course, a Penalty or Fine will be imposed on him/her. Final decision regarding such penalty will be taken by the institution.
  • Examination Fee will be paid before examinations are conducted.

Allotment of MBBS Seats

All allotment of seats under Zoram Medical College is to be done through the Medical Counselling Committee of India (MCC) and the Technical Wing, Higher & Technical Education Department, Govt. of Mizoram. All queries related to the allotment process for State Quota and NRI Quota are to be taken up with this department. Only students who are allotted seats by the MCC and H&TE Department, Mizoram will be given admission to Zoram Medical College. DO NOT CONTACT ZMC DIRECTLY FOR ALLOTMENT OF SEATS.

Online Admission

All admissions process will be done online. Further instruction regarding document verification and Final Medical Check-up will be put on the College Website.
