MANIPAL UNIVERSITY

Manipal Academy of Higher Education, formerly Manipal University, is a private research institute deemed to be university located in the university town of Manipal, Karnataka, India. Manipal Academy of Higher Education has sister universities in Dubai, Mangalore, Sikkim, and Jaipur. It is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.

Admission to most of the courses are accepted through the university’s own entrance examination called All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET). Admissions to PG Medical/Dental Courses offered by Manipal University, for the academic year 2017-18 will be done on the basis of the Rank obtained in NEET. However, there are various specialization for which the university accepts direct admission on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying exams. Shortlisted candidates are called for counselling.
Details regarding admission process of specific course can be obtained from prospectus available at the university website Foreign nationals, Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under Foreign/NRI category. Such applicants are exempted from entrance exam for most of the courses. Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Application forms for admission to Manipal University courses can be filled and submitted through online as well as offline mode along with the required processing fee of Rs. 2000/- (Rs. 2500/- in case of foreign candidates) and supporting documents. All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) for 2017-18 batches will be commencing from the April month.
